Kelsey, 12 loves to blow bubbles and has always been a quite energetic/ active person. Her parents were complete opposites due to their jobs being strongly office related. Her aunt Betsy who was living with her parents at the time was just like Kelsey and always encouraged her to be unique. Kelsey and her parents fight a lot due to the contrast in their personalities, but they fight even more when Kelsey gets accepted to be in a bubble gum blowing competition. Betsy persuades Kelsey’s mum and dad to let her go. Betsy and Kelsey go to the competition, but Kelsey’s parents don’t accompany her. Kelsey ends up winning a lot, so she makes it to the finals in New York. Kelsey’s mum and dad eventually discover what it means to be a kid again from watching her on t.v. Her parents go to New York to see Kelsey’s finals. They become a family again and learn to love each other for who they are.
