I think that compared to the other two film posters I believe that the picture is not very clear on this one. The layout of the film poster closely follows the codes and conventions of film posters. It looks very professional and the colours work very well, my first impression is that this poster would convinces me to go and watch the film. It has been successful representing the key themes of the film of them being depression this is shown through the image.

ReplyDeleteI must agree with janelle's point, i belive the image is abit unclear due to the effect you have incorporated.
The poster comes across as more of a dark/violent poster...it would be suitable for a thriller and not a heartbreak short film.
Apart from the clarity of the image i think your use of plain and simple layout is highly effective and realistic
